How One to One Physical Therapy and Pilates Fitness is Taking Measures to Combat the Coronavirus

One to One Physical Therapy and Pilates Fitness will remain open for all current and new appointments.  If this changes, you will be notified by text message, phone call, and email.

What steps are being taken to protect patients, family, and staff?

  1. All patient’s will have their temperature taken upon entering the clinic.

  2. All patient’s will be screened with the "Clinician Screen Tool for Identifying Persons Under Investigation for Coronavirus Disease."  2019 (COVID-19) 

  3. Treatment area will be cleaned between each appointment using CaviCide Hospital Disinfectant, UV light wand, and floor steam mop.

  4. Before entering the gym area, the bottom of shoes will be spayed with CaviCide Hospital Disinfectant. 

  5. Any fabric/material in the gym/treatment area will be washed every night.

  6. Appointments will be scheduled with a 15-30 min gap between appointments to ensure no patient overlap, no waiting time in the waiting room, and time to thoroughly disinfect equipment, floor, assessment tools, and treatment tools.

  7. Patient may enter through the front main clinic door, or the back door.

Treatment changes to limit exposure to any infectious substances.

  1. All treatments will be in the gym area of the clinic that enables complete disinfecting.

  2. The gym has been scaled down and all accessory treatment equipment/supplies are in a closed storage place.  Only the major pieces of equipment are in the gym/treatment area.

  3. There is no shortage of hand sanitizer.  The two GoJo dispensers are full and ready to go.

  4. I will wear a N95 mask for all treatments that require close contact (i.e. manual hands on treatment, Schroth Scoliosis treatment)

  5. Any treatment tools, weights etc. used during treatment will be put in a storage container with a lid directly after use until the end of the session and then disinfected prior to the next treatment session.

Please contact the clinic if you experience a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Should this happen, All patients/family will be notified by phone, text, and email on file (Your identity will be anonymous.)
